I have one 250 GB SATA disk like boot disk and a second 1 GHz SATA disk. Unluckily, after I did fit it in my G5 I was not able to close its transparent plastic air deflector door: it seems that graphic card has a couple of fans fitted in the top, plus some big iron cables that use enough space. I would like to replace standard Nvidia GeForce 6600 graphic card with 256 Mb of vram. I bought a Nvidia Quadro FX 4500 with 512 Mb of vram from an user that sold every piece of its faulty Power Mac G5 2,5 GHz (late 2005, too). However, I also have a Power Mac G5 dual 2,3 GHz (late 2005). I am fully satisfied from my iMac 27 2,8 GHz i7.
